Meet the Farmers
Willard Maust was born in a farming community in Pigeon, Michigan. When Willard was a young boy he and and his family relocated to the orange groves of Cucamonga, CA. There, Willard began raising a small flock of laying hens. He had a passion for providing his local community and neighbors with farm fresh eggs. In high-school, Willard began growing operations and soon after opened a small local route where he continued to offer fresh eggs to local stores and restaurants. In 1956, he and his wife, Darleen, set up their first farm in Alta Loma. In the following years after, Willard expanded his flocks and opened several chicken farms in Southern California. In 2008, Willard downsized operations, but kept 3 small farms in Hemet, Mentone, and Chino. The Ranch store is located in Chino, CA., and sells fresh eggs as well as fresh and live poultry. Willard’s son Phil and his family still operate the farm to this day, and Maust Family continues Willard’s passion of providing the freshest eggs for the community.
